Prolific writer for children and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the firm commented: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the decision was made after an inquiry regarding allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable involving female individuals.
The company did not confirm the reasons for its decision, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies internationally in five dozen languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
Several of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
He has published more than 40 books altogether, including a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
